GRADE FROM 2A+ to 2B+, MEDIUM PACE
Please note that this hike takes place on a Tuesday public holiday, and the Wednesday that follows.
Spend a night on Table Mountain in the luxurious Overseer's Cottage, next to the De Villiers Dam. This is one of those must-do activities in Cape Town. Being on the mountain after dark, watching the twinkling lights of the city below and the stars overhead, is something truly special. If necessary the group will be split into two so that everyone can hike up at a pace and difficulty level that suits them. Once we arrive at the cottage, the afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy the mountain, or, if you’re feeling energetic, we can explore some of the trails on the Back Table. The following morning, we’ll pack up and descend through the beautiful Orangekloof valley, finishing our mountain adventure in the forest below.
Maximum 16 hikers. The cost is R690 plus the R50 non refundable admin fee. This includes portage. Please do not pay until your place is confirmed and you have received an invoice.
