GRADE 2A+, MEDIUM / SLOW PACE
Max 6 hikers. Join Belinda as she debuts as a guest hike leader. Starting from Boyes Drive we hike up to Boomslang Cave. We walk through the cave, which forms a passageway through the mountain, towards Echo Valley. A head torch is needed for the cave, which starts wide but narrows, just before the exit, such that the last few metres must be navigated crouched down.
Then we follow a boardwalk through the magical indigenous forest of Echo Valley, later emerging into a high Amphitheatre, with beautiful rock formations and fynbos vegetation. The trail loops around, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and oceans, before descending into the cool shade of Spes Bona forest, which leads us back down to our starting point.
