Educational talk with Dale Snyders
We are excited to invite you to a fascinating and educational talk on snakes. This presentation is perfect for hikers, nature lovers, and anyone curious (or even a little nervous!) about these incredible reptiles.
Our guest speaker has had a lifelong passion for snakes, sparked at just 6 years old during a close encounter in Swaziland. He has since trained under leading experts including Johan Marais (African Snakebite Institute), Mike Perry (African Reptiles and Venom), and Chris Hobkirk (Lowveld Venom). Today, he is a highly experienced snake handler and educator, having trained hundreds of individuals in the safe handling of venomous snakes. He is skilled in working with some of the world’s most dangerous species, including mambas and king cobras, and maintains a collection of highly venomous snakes—often referred to as “one-hit wonders.”
What to expect from the talk:
This engaging session runs for approximately 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Q&A, where all your questions will be answered. One of the highlights of the talk is helping people overcome their fear of snakes in a safe and controlled environment. This is an experience many find empowering and unforgettable.

After the talk, everyone is welcome to stay on for a relaxed social—enjoy a drink (for your own account) and connect with fellow members.
