GRADE 2B+, MEDIUM / SLOW PACE
We ascend the single track from Constantia Nek up to Eagles Nest where we enjoy birds-eye views over the Constantia hills to Muizenberg and the entire Cape Flats. From there we continue up the Belle Hombre route, steady up with a few minor scrambles, but really nothing to worry about. After a tea/snack break we pass Camel Rock, an interesting rock formation, eventually popping out at the Overseers hut. The descent back to Constantia Nek is via the jeep track or the Leafy route.
Bookings open 2 months before the hike. Bookings close the Friday before the hike at 18h00. No smoking on the hike.
