GRADE 2A, SLOW PACE
Please note that this hike takes place on a Thursday public holiday.
We'll follow the gentle River Trail in Silvermine pausing in the middle of the out and back route to have a picnic lunch (and a swim?) at the dam. Please note the later start time to tie in with lunch. [We start at 11 am]. The total distance is 5.5 km with a gentle 160 m up and down. Wild Card or a R44 entrance fee will be payable.
Please earmark the Saturday 26 September as an alternative hiking day if poor weather is forecast on 24 September.
Bookings open 2 months before the hike. Bookings close the Tuesday before the hike at 18h00. No smoking on the hike.
