GRADE 2B, MEDIUM PACE
Leaving from Boyes Drive we hike steadily upwards on a good path to the ridge. From the ridge we turn south and head along and up to Muizenberg Peak. After having snacks, we drop down and along to St James Peak with views over False Bay. There is a 565 m elevation gain over the day so reasonable fitness is required. There is an option of adding Steenberg Peak should the group decide in favour. The route back mainly retraces our steps to Boyes Drive.
Please earmark the Saturday as an alternative hiking day if poor weather is forecast on the Sunday.
