The Swellendam Hiking Trail, situated in the Marloth Nature Reserve, is one of the Western Cape’s most rewarding hut to hut multi-day routes. As it criss-crosses a large swathe of the Langeberge, it meanders through secluded green kloofs, vast fynbos-covered valleys and imposing mountainous terrain. 60km over 5 days. Members need to be able to carry a heavy backpack in order to be self sufficient for the 5 days. Hiking fitness is essential.
