Hell's Gates and Beyond with Mark Hawthorne

This is a beautiful, circular, tranquil hike through the Orange Kloof Restricted Area. We hike through lovely fynbos with good views, under indigenous Afro-montane forest, along the lower Disa stream where it is cool and shaded, until we reach Hell's Gates and eventually, the Woodhead Tunnel, before we return via a different route in the Orange Kloof valley. This is a strenuous hike with some exposure to heights. Limited to 12.
